45 years ago, in the spring of 1967, Ignasi Cucurella had the audacity to look for a space in the old town of Barcelona and put up a jeweler's table and a blowtorch.
Ignasi and Montserrat began to work and create. They filled a suitcase with daring pieces and, as if playing, they took to the street.
In 1997 they presented a line with silver - totally black - combined with gold that they exhibited in Novajoia.
It was a revolution, the beginning of a change that began with a few pieces that were expanded and evolved into the current collections.
Now it is her daughter Mar who, since 2009, has given new impetus to the workshop, pampering the jewelry as her parents have done all their lives.
A love story, of silver and gold, that lives and revives in the new generation.
